Did You Know?
Havey Hall is named for Kate Havey, later known as Mother Mary Joseph Havey. Born in Pittsburgh in 1863, she entered religious life in 1881. She later became a teacher and a principal. As the first president of Seton Hill College, she led the school and the Sisters through major moments in history. Known for her strong leadership and dedication, Mother Havey is remembered as prayerful and generous. Learn more Seton Hill history here.
