Residency Requirement
All full-time undergraduate students are required to live in the residence halls for six semesters (not counting summer or January terms), or until they achieve senior status unless granted permission by the Office of Residence and Commuter Life. Permission will be granted if the student provides evidence and qualifies for one or more of the following conditions:
- The student is 24 years of age or older.
- The student served and/or is discharged from the Armed Forces.
- The student is living with parents(s), legal guardian(s), or close family member(s) and commuting to school. The parent(s), guardian(s), or family member(s) must live within a 50-mile radius of campus, and must reside at the residence at least 75% of the year.
- The student is married and/or has one or more dependent children whom he/she supports and who lives with him/her.
This policy became effective beginning with the students entering Seton Hill University for Fall 2016.
