Administrative Assistant, Academic Affairs, College in High School and Dual Enrollment Program
Seton Hill University seeks qualified candidates for the full-time Administrative Assistant position in Academic Affairs, College in High School/Dual Enrollment. This position will provide clerical and administrative support to the Assistant Director of College in High School/Dual Enrollment and the Associate Dean for Graduate, Adult and Non-Traditional Programs; keep all records related to the College in High School/Dual Enrollment Programs as needed.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Strong clerical skills (word processing, spread sheet creation and maintenance, digital filing, record keeping, e-mailing, power point)
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Detail-oriented
- Flexibility in performing day to day assignments
- Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
- Potential to comprehend and clearly describe all aspects of the CHS/DE Programs
- Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion, with a focus on providing access to higher education for historically underserved high school student populations
- Willingness to maintain confidentiality regarding the student information system
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Take directives from and provide clerical support to the CHS/DE Assistant Director and the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs.
- Prepare correspondence to CHS partners regarding annual School Agreements, registration instructions, course/instructor verifications, grade submission instructions, and other correspondence as needed.
- Maintain and update the CHS/DE records regarding class offerings, current instructors, and enrollment.
