Becoming a Confident Writer

The Writing Center’s goal is to encourage you in becoming a stronger, more confident writer, so that you can communicate effectively in college and in your career.

You can receive assistance in developing your writing as you transition to college-level writing and as you learn the writing conventions in various disciplines. Writers of all skill levels benefit from these Writing Center services:

  • one-on-one writing assistance
  • classroom and campus workshops
  • website resources
Professional staff and student writing consultants can provide support to students at any stage of their education, including those in the graduate and the online bachelor's degree and certificate programs. The Writing Center is located in Reeves Learning Commons and its resources are also available online.
