Mobile Learning at the Hill

The Mobile Learning @ The Hill Program provides Seton Hill's academic community with 24/7 access to a world of learning, in addition to the tools they need to engage in it fully. Through this program, Seton Hill's students, faculty and staff are provided with Apple devices and the training to integrate mobile technology resources into the academic environment.
Apple Technology Provided to Students, Faculty and Staff
MacBook Air Laptops
- Traditional full-time bachelor’s degree students (all academic programs)
- M.S. in Physician Assistant (graduate) students
- M.A. in Art Therapy (graduate) students
- M.S. in Orthodontics (graduate) students
- Doctor of Physical Therapy DPT (graduate) students
- Doctor of Occupational Therapy OTD (graduate) students
- Full-time faculty
- Full-time staff in most areas
iPad Tablets
- Faculty (upon request)
- Faculty may also request an Apple Pencil if they complete the Apple Teacher Certification badges for the iPad
Apple Across Campus
- Apple TVs are installed in classrooms, labs & Reeves Learning Commons
- A mobile “iPad Cart” can be delivered to classrooms & labs when needed
- Apple Tech Support is available to all students, faculty & staff
- iMac desktops are installed in graphic & interactive design and art labs
Innovative Teaching and Learning Center
Seton Hill’s Innovative Teaching and Learning Center supports faculty and students in the appropriate use of technologies to enrich and expand the teaching and learning experience.
Apple Care
Seton Hill’s Information Technology staff maintain self-servicing status with Apple. This means that students, faculty and staff:
- Don’t need to leave campus to receive Apple support.
- Will be provided with a “loaner” MacBook Air to replace a MacBook Air that cannot be serviced right away.

Seton Hill Recognized by Apple for the 7th Time!
Apple has named Seton Hill an Apple Distinguished School for the seventh time in 2022. The Apple Distinguished School designation is reserved for programs that are recognized centers of educational excellence and leadership.
