Seton Hill’s Art History program will provide you with the academic skills to find jobs or pursue graduate work in art history, art criticism, museum studies and museum education. As an Art History major at Seton Hill you will have the opportunity to develop an understanding of material culture created throughout the course of history.

Fieldwork, Apprenticeships & Careers
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, historians had a median annual wage of $74,050 in 2024, while archivists, curators and museum workers averaged $57,100. Job growth for archivists, curators and museum workers is expected to grow faster than the average through 2034. Students in Seton Hill's Arts Programs have a history of successfully obtaining and completing apprenticeships and fieldwork in local and national museums.
