Program Objectives
Occupation
- Use meaningful and purposeful occupation to support engagement in the therapy process within diverse practice settings leading to improved health, occupational performance and wellbeing.
Evaluation and Intervention
- Use professional reasoning to evaluate occupational performance and develop interventions that show evidence of theoretical grounding, therapeutic efficacy, occupational relevance and reflective practice.
Evidence-Based Practice
- Demonstrate the ability to gather relevant evidence (data, online sources, professional literature), critically analyze and synthesize information and communicate its significance in relationship to practice questions and issues.
Professionalism
- Demonstrate a commitment to using therapy processes, management strategies and leadership practices that reflect professional values and ethics, to address inequities, and advocate for clients, populations and the profession.
