Forensic Science Grad an Investigator in the Pharmaceutical Industry
Harry Jawanda has taken his Seton Hill degree in Forensic Science to the healthcare industry as an investigator in the pharmaceutical industry.
Jawanda has been working with his most recent client, Pfizer Inc., for more than a year. In this role, he helps Pfizer on its FDA remediation project. Jawanda provides on-site expertise for Pfizer management; works with the company during investigations that hold up a product release; and recommends and implements corrective and preventative actions.
"I believe time management, discipline, and consistency towards striving for better were the most important traits I took away from Seton Hill University."
“It is a very fulfilling role as it keeps me on my toes at all times,” says Jawanda, a native of Toronto whose parents are from India. “It can get a bit stressful due to the tight deadlines and long hours; however I enjoy these high-risk, high-reward environments.”
Jawanda thanks the Seton Hill staff – including professors Diana Hoover, Diane Miller and Barbara Flowers, who was also his advisor – for providing invaluable guidance during his college years, personally and professionally.
“They would make you feel as close to home as possible,” says Jawanda, who played on the Seton Hill soccer team.
“I believe time management, discipline, and consistency towards striving for better were the most important traits I took away from Seton Hill University,” he says.
