In May 2019, the Westmoreland Human Resources Association (WHRA) named Laurie English (MBA 2001) HR Professional of the Year. Laurie currently serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for Excela Health. In this role, she oversees employee relations, recruitment, compensation, employee safety, Human Resource Information Systems, benefits, payroll, workers’ compensation and employee health for the largest private employer in Westmoreland County.
