Student Choreographer Abby Breznak’s Work Featured at ACDA Conference

Abby Breznak, a dual major in dance and business, is a gifted choreographer. She recently had the honor of seeing her piece, “i'm innocent,” performed at the American College Dance Association's Northeast Conference.

" 'i'm innocent', was a challenging process from the very beginning," Abby says. "The opportunity to present it at ACDA, and have it selected out of 40 other performances to appear again at the gala, was incredibly rewarding."

Four of her classmates – Colby Miller, Elaina Ciecierski, Cammy Beglin, and Alexis Treese – performed the work.

"I am extremely grateful for all of my mentors," Abby added. " As well as my dancers, who helped to support me and bring my vision to life."

Student choreographers Tori Mostoller and Grace Moore also presented selections at the conference. Rutgers University hosted the conference during spring break.
