Griffin Impact Challenge Gives Students a Stage to Pitch Ideas

On a Thursday night in Cecilian Hall, Seton Hill students of all years and majors had a platform to pitch their ideas to the campus and Greensburg communities. The event was organized by MBA student AJ Bove in his role as graduate assistant for Student Leadership & Involvement.

Bove met with the twelve Seton Hill students in the weeks leading up to the event to help refine their pitches and presentations and organized a panel of judges including Alec Italiano, Director of Planning And Development for the City of Greensburg; Vice President For Student Affairs & Athletics Rosalie Carpenter; Helen Keegan-Geroux, Vice President for the Greensburg Business and Professional Association (GBPA); and Westmoreland County Commissioner Doug Chew.

The Tribune-Review interviewed students and covered a few of the ideas pitched during the competiton.

This event was the third part of a series recognizing student entrepreneurship. Previous events included a student business market at the start of the spring 2025 semester and pop-up shops in Lowe Dining Hall.
