Seton Hill alum Samuel Hartman '22 advanced to the semi-finals in the 400m hurdles at the U.S. Olympic Trials, placing 14th overall. Hartman was a highly competitive member of the Griffins track & field team during his time on the Hill, setting school records, leading the PSAC and competing nationally at NCAA Division II Track & Field Championships.

Recent graduate Aidan Layton '24 was selected No. 496 overall of the Major League Baseball draft by the Oakland Athletics. The right-handed pitcher was the first pick in the 17th round.
