Megan Matejcic ’17 Named to Pittsburgh Business Times 30 Under 30 List
Megan Matejcic ’17 was recently named to the The Pittsburgh Business Times 30 Under 30 list for 2024. 30 Under 30, presented in partnership with Leadership Pittsburgh Inc., honors leaders in Pittsburgh's business and nonprofit communities who are under 30 years old.
Matejcic, who majored in business administration and psychology at Seton Hill, serves as program manager for the SNAP (Stop Now And Plan) program at Auberle, a human services nonprofit located in McKeesport that serves all of western Pennsylvania in areas such as workforce development, housing, young adult services, foster care and behavioral health.
SNAP utilizes therapy groups to engage with children and their caregivers and teach emotional regulation and coping strategies. Matejcic has facilitated over 70 cohorts of participants through the program and has trained other staff members to be able to do the same. She has worked to expand the program as it now offers school-based services within the Mon Valley and a social issues book club for youth.
