CALL FOR ENTRIES

Alumni Art Exhibit 2024

Seton Hill University alumni are encouraged to submit up to three works of art to be considered for exhibition in the Alumni Art Exhibit, on display in Harlan Gallery and Jodee Harris Gallery, May 16 - June 8, 2024. All mediums accepted, and all graduating classes are welcomed to submit.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE:  Thursday, April 18, 2024, midnight

INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMISSION 

Artwork should be submitted as low-res JPEG files and emailed to Emily Franicola, Director of Harlan Gallery, at harlangallery@setonhill.edu. 

Subject line of email should read: Submission for 2024 Alumni Exhibit 

Attach a PDF or doc file listing the works of art in the order of your attachments first by artist, title, date, medium, and dimensions. If submitting time based work, please make sure to list the duration of your work. 

JUROR: Michael Tusay, Executive Director, Latrobe Art Center

Born and currently residing in Irwin, PA, Michael Tusay has an educational and professional background in both history and fine art. He received his BA from Lycoming College in Art History and Archaeology in 2016, MA in History and Public History from Duquesne University in 2020 and has held several positions in museums and galleries including the Carnegie Museum of Natural History, Carnegie Library, Carnegie Mellon University's Hunt Library, the Buffalo Bill Center for the West (Cody, WY), Morgan Glass Gallery (Pittsburgh, PA), The Frick Pittsburgh, and Bushy Run Battlefield (Jeannette, PA). Currently, he serves as the Executive Director of Latrobe Art Center.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: Thursday, April 18, 2024, midnight

NOTIFICATION OF ACCEPTANCE/REJECTION: Thursday, April 25, 2024

DELIVERY OF ARTWORK: Sunday, May 12, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

*If mailing accepted work, work must be received by Monday, May 13th to be included in the exhibition. Mailing details will be provided upon acceptance.*

EXHIBITION DATES: May 16 - June 8, 2024

RECEPTION: Friday, June 7, 2024 at beginning at 6 p.m, in congruence with Seton Hill Alumni Weekend

PICK-UP OF ARTWORK: Sunday, June 9, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
