Seton Hill Partnering with ACRE to Assist Creative Entrepreneurs
The Alliance for Creative Rural Economies (ACRE), which supports creative entrepreneurs across Western Pennsylvania and Northern West Virginia, is seeking makers, designers, artists craftspeople and small-batch manufacturers to join a yearlong cohort-based program in Greensburg, New Kensington and Johnstown.
Faculty from the School of Visual and Performing Arts and the Wukich Center for Entrepreneurial Opportunities at Seton Hill University are partnering with ACRE on these efforts.
ACRE supports creative entrepreneurs in sustaining and scaling their businesses in ways that benefit their communities.
ACRE provides creatives with the foundations to become confident business owners ready to grow their businesses. Through an application process, the Creative Business Accelerator (CBA) at Bridgeway Capital and local ACRE Partners will select up to 10 creative entrepreneurs to join a cohort in each community and guide them in a yearlong supportive, yet challenging program. Learn more about the ACRE Program.
Applications for the ACRE cohorts in Greensburg, New Kensington and Johnstown are currently open through July 10. Interested individuals may apply here.
ACRE will also hold a virtual information session on June 14 from 6 to 7 p.m. to learn more about the program. Register for the information session here.
