MBA Alum David Girardi Named Kansas City Chiefs Quarterbacks Coach
While many Seton Hill alumni find success in the business world with their MBAs, David Girardi MBA '13 has found a path for his talents in the NFL. The New Kensington native was recently named the new quarterbacks coach for the Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs. During his time at Seton Hill, Girardi was a graduate assistant for the Griffins football program.
Girardi will now serve as the new primary coach for Patrick Mahomes. He joined the Chiefs organization as offensive quality control coach in 2018 and was previously the pass game analyst and assistant quarterbacks coach, a role to which he was promoted in 2021.
Girardi was a quarterback at Geneva College from 2007-2010 and ranks in the top six quarterbacks in the school's history.
