Alumni who have worked in public service for 10 years or more have until October 31, 2022 to apply for the federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness program. 

The Public Service Loan Forgiveness program offers college graduates an opportunity to have all of their student debt canceled if they have worked in public service (federal, state, local, tribal government or a non-profit organization) for 10 years or more. Even if you have not serviced 10 years, you still may be eligible for credit. 

Many Seton Hill alumni in a variety of fields - including education, social work, and health care, who have committed their careers to making change in their communities, may be eligible for this forgiveness.
