Seton Hill Alumna Lisa Scales '84 Named Pittsburgher of the Year
Seton Hill University alumna Lisa Scales '84 has been named Pittsburgher of the Year by Pittsburgh Magazine for her tremendous advocacy for people in need throughout the Pittsburgh region.
As President and Chief Executive Officer of the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, Scales has led the effort in providing needed resources to people from throughout the Pittsburgh region who suddenly found themselves in need as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Seton Hill University President Mary Finger commented, "All of us at the University congratulate Pittsburgher of the Year Lisa Scales. We are grateful for all she does as a leader of the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank. Lisa's transformative work in the community inspires all of us at Seton Hill."
Scales, a Distinguished Alumna of Seton Hill, will be honored by Pittsburgh Magazine during a virtual event on February 11 and is featured on the cover of the magazine's January/February issue.
