Seton Hill Cybersecurity Student Featured in WQED Segment on Future Jobs
Seton Hill student Erika Totaro's internship has turned into a job, thanks to a partnership between Seton Hill University and the National Cyber-Forensics and Training Alliance (NCFTA) in Pittsburgh.
Totaro, a computer science and cybersecurity double major from Irwin, Pa., was among the first interns at the NCFTA, a non-profit organization that works with private industry and law enforcement agencies on analyzing and mitigating cybersecurity threats.
Her internship turned into a part-time job with the NCFTA as an information analyst, and, in May, Totaro will begin full-time employment with the organization while she finishes her degrees at Seton Hill.
WQED-TV in Pittsburgh recently featured Totaro in a segment on Future Jobs that focused on the NCFTA and the important role information security analysts play today and into the future.
