Seton Hill University Hosts Fiberarts Guild of Pittsburgh Exhibit September 23 to October 18
Seton Hill University’s Harlan Gallery will host Inspired! – an exhibit featuring the works of members of the Fiberarts Guild of Pittsburgh.
The show will be held from September 23 through October 18 at Harlan Gallery, located in the Seton Hill Arts Center, 205 West Otterman St., Greensburg.
Inspired! will feature 43 works by 34 artists. The show, juried by New York mixed media artist Jeanne Beck, allows fiber artists to answer the question “What are the experiences, relationships, subjects, objects, artists, styles, or questions that inspire your work as a fiber artist?” The exhibit serves as an opportunity for fiber artists to share their work while honoring the influences that motivate their creative practice.
An opening reception will be held on September 23 from 2 to 4 p.m. The reception and show are free and open to the public.
Harlan Gallery’s hours of operation are Monday through Thursday 1 to 8 p.m.; Friday 1 to 3 p.m., and Sunday 1 to 4 p.m. The gallery is also open by appointment. For more information, contact Pati Beachley, beachley@setonhill.edu, or the School of Visual and Performing Arts office at 724-552-2900.
