Seton Hill Students Rally for Equal Pay
The Seton Hill University Feminist Collective held a rally at the Westmoreland County Courthouse on April 10 - Equal Pay Day - to bring attention to the issue of the gender pay gap. Equal Pay Day is recognized nationally each year to mark the time in the year when it takes the average woman to earn as much as a man did in the previous calendar year. President Mary Finger and University of Pittsburgh professor Sheila Confer offered remarks.
Both the Tribune-Review and the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette offered coverage of the rally.
