Inside Higher Ed Features Seton Hill Online Programs
Seton Hill's online educational programs were recently featured in two Inside Higher Ed articles.
The national online publication featured Seton Hill's efforts to monitor the quality of its online courses in an article titled, "Assuring Online Course Quality." The article quoted several Seton Hill faculty and staff, including Provost Susan Yochum, S.C., Ph.D., Mary Spataro, Director of the Innovative Teaching and Learning Center; Debra Faszer-McMahon, Dean of the School of Humanities; and John Spurlock, professor of history. It discussed the collaborative ways Seton Hill builds online courses and works to ensure their quality.
Sister Susan Yochum was also quoted in a second article, "Should Online Instructors be Online Students," which delved into the issue of whether online instructors should have experience taking online courses.
