Alumna Frances Howard Marze ’60 Featured in Pure Pigment Art Exhibit
The art of Frances Howard Marze, a 1960 art and English graduate of Seton Hill, is being featured in the exhibit Pure Pigment, presented by the Pittsburgh Pastel Artists League. The exhibit runs through May 20th at The Artsmiths of Pittsburgh, an arts and cultural center located at 1635 McFarland Road, Pittsburgh.
Marze taught for more than 35 years, mostly in the Baldwin Whitehall School District near Pittsburgh. A resident of Baldwin Township, she is currently a docent at the Carnegie Museum of Art in Oakland as well as a practicing artist. She is a member of The Pittsburgh Watercolor Society, Pittsburgh Society of Artists, South Hills Art League, and Whitehall Arts in addition to her membership in the Pittsburgh Pastel Artists Society.
The Pure Pigment exhibit will also feature the work of Linda Barnicott, Gail Beem, Carol Donnelly, Nanette Hought, Jan Pini, Christine Swann, and other talented Greater Pittsburgh pastel artists.
