Seton Hill Announces Spring 2016 Schedule of Theatre, Music and Art Performances and Exhibits

The Seton Hill University Division of Visual and Performing Arts has announced the spring 2016 schedule. 

January 

Visual Arts: Seton Hill University’s Harlan Gallery will present an exhibit featuring the works of student artists from January 21-February 18, while the Small Gallery will feature The Mindful Project exhibit. An opening reception will be held on January 21 from 4 to 7 p.m. The exhibits and reception are free and open to the public. The galleries are located at the Seton Hill Arts Center, 205 W. Otterman St., Greensburg. The galleries are open Monday through Thursday from 1 to 8 p.m.; Friday from 1 to 3 p.m.; Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m.; and by appointment. Performing Arts: Seton Hill University’s Community Music Program will host a recital on January 22 at 6:30 p.m. in the Carol Ann Reichgut Concert Hall, on the main floor of the Seton Hill University Performing Arts Center located at 100 Harrison Avenue in Greensburg, Pa. The recital will feature youth and adults who study privately with Seton Hill University’s Community Music Program instructors.

Performing Arts: Seton Hill University’s Westmoreland Symphonic Winds under the direction of Dr. Timothy L. Ellison will present its 30th Anniversary Reunion concert on February 13 at 7:30 p.m. in the Carol Ann Reichgut Concert Hall on the main floor of the Seton Hill University Performing Arts Center located at 100 Harrison Avenue in Greensburg, Pa. The 30th Anniversary Reunion Concert will feature current and former members of the WSW reuniting to perform together for this momentous occasion. Kathleen M. Charity Hope Valentine is a dance hall hostess with a big heart on a quest for the right guy. In 1960s New York City this can be a tough gig, especially when you’re still in search of who you are. This musical comedy features romance, terrific dance numbers and classic songs by Dorothy Fields and Cy Coleman, including “Big Spender,” “If My Friends Could See Me Now,” and “I’m a Brass Band.”
