Winter Sports Season to Kick off This Weekend
The winter sports teams are ready to kick off their seasons in full force this weekend as they open up play. The women's basketball team will take part in the PSAC/CIAA Challenge at Slippery Rock University. SHU will take on Chowan on Friday night and Virginia State on Saturday afternoon. The men's basketball team will play Duquesne in an exhibition contest for the Griffins. The game will be the season opener for the Dukes. The wrestlers will return to action after a two week break from the Clarion Open where a few wrestlers took part and will send a full squad to the Mount Union Invitational this weekend.
