Zimmer Named to Capital One Academic All District Team
Senior linebacker Tyler Zimmer has been named to the Capital One Academic All District Football team for the second straight season. Zimmer, a 3.80 Elementary education student, was also selected as a first team Capital One Academic All American last season. Zimmer will be eligible for an Academic All American team this season as well. Voting will conducted for that later in the season. This season, Tyler has 41 total tackles, including 18 solos. He has also added 2 tackles for loss, 2 fumble recoveries and 1 interception.
