Men's Lacrosse Attending 'Crosse out Cancer Showcase
The Seton Hill University men's lacrosse team is proud to take part in Sunday's 'Crosse out Cancer showcase. The event, now in its fifth year, is run by Burning River Lacrosse and established to raise funds for the Comprehensive Breast Cancer Program at the Cleveland Clinic. This year's showcase will feature three NCAA Division I, four Division II, and six Division III teams. Scrimmages will be held throughout the day and will be played at Hawken School's Walton Stadium. The Griffins lacrosse team will hit the field first at 11:30 a.m. against Ohio Wesleyan University. Games at 3:00pm against Canisius College and 5:00pm against Wittenberg University will round out the day.Tickets for the 'Crosse out Cancer event ($5 in advance/ $10 day of) will be available in advance at all Burning River events, by contacting Burning River at 216-373-5684, or on the day of the event. Specially designed pink t-shirts and hoodies will be on sale at the site and all proceeds will be donated to the Comprehensive Breast Cancer Program.
