Carter Wins Carnegie Mellon Invitational



The Griffin cross country teams made the short drive into the city of Pittsburgh for the Carnegie Mellon Invitational on Saturday afternoon at Schenley Park.  Junior Meagan Carter finished first overall in the women's race to lead the team to a tie for second place, just one team point out of first place.  Cortland State won the event with a team score of 59.  The Griffins and the University of Pittsburgh each finished in a tie for second with 60 points.  The Griffin men finished in 6th place with 200 points behind host Carnegie Mellon who finished with 41 points.
