Greensburg PA- The Griffins lose to the undefeated IUP Hawks 56-54. The Griffins jumped out to a 20-12 lead with 10:10 to play in the first half. IUP ended the half on a 19-6 run to take a 36-31 half time lead. The Griffins (now 5-3 overall and 2-2 in PSAC) played the Hawks close never trailing by more than 9 points. Back-to-back layups by Malachi Leonard ties the game at 54 with 59.0 seconds to play. The griffins found themselves down by 2 with 2.8 seconds left in the game and attempting an inbound pass from the other side of half court. Senior Nate Perry misses hits a 3pt shot to win the game with a pass from Senior Max Kenyi with no time in the contest. Never the less, a great attempt and better inbound play to produce the look.
