WCC Ranked in USTFCCCA National Poll for First Time
For the first time in school history, the Seton Hill women's cross country team has cracked the USTFCCCA Top 25. This week the Griffins enter the poll at number 24. Seton Hill was ranked 4th in the Atlantic Regional rankings by the USTFCCCA as well. Last weekend the Griffins took home a first place finish at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational, defeating nationally ranked Indiana (PA). Other PSAC teams in the national poll include #9 Edinboro, #13 Shippensburg and #18 Indiana (PA). The Griffins will be off this weekend before taking part in the PSAC Championships on October 26th in Kutztown, PA. After a week off the Griffins will run in the NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional hosted by Lock Haven University on November 9th. The top four finishers at the Atlantic Regional then advance to the NCAA Division II Championships in Spokane, Washington on November 23rd.
