The cross country teams made the trip to Louisville, KY for the Greater Louisville Classic hosted by the University of Louisville.  The women finished 8th in the gold race among the non division I teams.  The men finished 21st in the blue race among the non division I schools.  The women defeated two teams ranked in last weeks top 25.  The top finisher for the Griffins was Jeannie Bujdos who finished 18th overall in a time of 18:15.  Meagan Carter was 23rd (18:33) with Alyssa Brandis 26th (18:38).  Mary Janak came in 73rd place with a time of 19:31.  Sarah Burkett rounded out the Griffin top five in 87th place with a time of 19:46.  Each of these times were a season's best for the Griffin top five.  On the men's side, Steve Lafferty was the top finisher in 48th place in a time of 26:59.  Santo Belle was 66th overall with a time of 27:12.  Rounding out the top five were Dom Camasso (105th-27:52), Austin Rigsby (137th-28:23) and Riley Giaquinto (160th-28:55).  The Griffins will next compete at Carnegie Mellon next weekend.
