As a new era begins for the Seton Hill football program, their first season in the PSAC West and first season under new head coach Isaac Collins, the Griffins were selected eighth in the 2013 PSAC West Coaches Preseason Poll.  The Griffins will open their 2013 season on Thursday, September 5th when they travel to Fairmont State and will have their home opener on Saturday, September 14th when they host PSAC East foe East Stroudsburg.  The Warriors were selected fifth in the east preseason poll.  SHU will play its first ever PSAC West contest when they host preseason favorite Indiana (PA) on September 21st.
