Griffin Aron Kurzinski has been named to the 2013 Capital One Academic All-America® Division II Men's and Track/Cross Country Team as a second team selection.  It marks the first time Kurzinski has earned a Capital One Academic All American Award.  Kurzinski was named to the All District team earlier this season.  Aron joins Josh Wilks and Erin Beattie as Griffin track and field athletes to be named Academic All Americans.  Kurzinski was a 2013 NCAA Division II Indoor All American in the long jump (finished in sixth place), jumping 7.36m.  He was also a  2013 USTFCCCA Indoor All Region Selection.  Aron holds SHU Indoor Records in the 55 (6.61) and 60m dash (7.02) and long jump (7.51m).  He also holds SHU Outdoor record in the long jump (7.33m).
