SHU Falls at UPJ 2-1
Seton Hill took a 1-0 lead into the halftime break but was unable to hold the lead and dropped a 2-1 decision to Pitt Johnstown on the road at Richland High School on Sunday night. With the loss the Griffins fall to 8-6-1 overall and 3-3-1 in WVIAC play. The Griffins took a 1-0 lead when Katelyn Wiater scored off a pass from Brenna O'Leary off a corner kick with just over 6 minutes to play in the first half. UPJ tied the score at one with a goal in the 70th minute. 30 seconds later Pitt Johnstown scored again to take a 2-1 lead and was able to hold on for the win. Bethany Winter suffered the loss in net but registered 5 saves. Seton Hill will battle Davis&Elkins on Tuesday afternoon.
