Men Move up to Sixth; Women Remain Fifth in Regional Rankings
The U.S. Track&Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released week three regional rankings for the NCAA Division II 2012 season. The No. 1 teams from the previous week remained unchanged from the previous week. The Seton Hill men made the biggest jump in the Atlantic Region, moving from ninth to sixth following a fourth place finish at the CMU Invitational. The sixth place ranking is also the highest for a SHU men's CC team. The Griffin women remain in fifth place in the Atlantic Region. SHU finished second behind third ranked IUP in last weekend's CMU Invitational. Both teams will be off this weekend in preparation for the 2012 WVIAC Championships which will be hosted on the Seton Hill campus on October 20th. (Complete Rankings)
