After finally reaching the top of the WVIAC mountain last season, the Griffin women's cross country team found themselves back in the bridesmaid position following a second place finish at the WVIAC Championships this Saturday morning.  The race was held on the Seton Hill campus.  It was the final WVIAC Championship for the Griffins as they will be making the move to the PSAC next season.  Wheeling Jesuit captured the conference title, finishing two points ahead of the Griffins.  WJU ended with 40 points while the Griffins had 42.
