Nicole Peeler’s “Tempest’s Legacy” Published by Orbit Books
Nicole Peeler, Ph.D.,assistant professor, English at Seton Hill University, has written the third book in The Jane True Series, “Tempest’s Legacy,” which is published by Orbit Books.
The third book of this popular urban fantasy series, “Tempest’s Legacy,” continues to follow lead character, Jane True, who has been on a peaceful hiatus at home in Rockabill and believes that her worst problem is that she throws like a girl-at least when she throws fireballs. Jane’s peace of mind ends when she receives terrible news that rocks her world to its very core. After demanding to help investigate a series of gruesome attacks on females, Jane quickly finds herself forced to confront her darkest nightmares and deepest desires. She is not sure which is more frightening.
“My books take advantage of all the amazing mythologies humans have built over the years to create a series that is fun, fresh and sexy,” said Peeler. “If someone is a fan of ‘True Blood,’ she/he will definitely enjoy reading about Jane True.”
The Jane True Series, includes “Tempest Rising,” “Tracking the Tempest” and “Tempest’s Legacy,” in addition to books that are still in progress, including “Eye of the Tempest,” book four and “Tempest’s Fury,” book five.
Peeler, of Greensburg, Pa., teaches undergraduate and graduate classes at Seton Hill University. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston University and earned her Doctor of Philosophy degree from the University of Edinburgh.
