Greensburg, PA – Seton Hill University awarded 320 undergraduate and graduate degrees during its commencement exercises on May 8, 2004. Seton Hill also awarded two honorary degrees: the Doctor of Laws to the Most Reverend Anthony G. Bosco and the Doctor of Humane Letters to Stanton R. Sheetz, president and CEO of Sheetz, Inc.

Alumna Michele M. Ridge, Chair of Seton Hill’s Board of Trustees, presided over the commencement exercises, held, for the first time in the University’s history, on the campus’ Administration Building lawn. Dr. Mary Ann Gawelek, vice president for academic affairs and dean of the faculty, presented the candidates for degrees and Dr. JoAnne Boyle, University president, conferred the degrees. Stanton R. Sheetz addressed the graduating class.

The Most Reverend Lawrence E. Brandt, Bishop of Greensburg, delivered the blessing to conclude the commencement exercises.
