GREENSBURG, PA- Lorraine Coy, of Manor, PA, recently joined the Office of Institutional Advancement at Seton Hill College as the new Coordinator of Gift Processing and Development Information Systems. In her new position, Coy develop, manages and maintains the quality and accuracy of development and alumnae database.
Previously Coy worked as a member of the Alumni Office staff at St. Vincent College. While there, she processed gifts totaling more than 1 million dollars annually, along with managing the matching gifts programs and creating the annual report document and reports to the Board of Directors. She mentioned that this is where her love for development work was initiated and she jumped at the opportunity to return to the field.
"The opportunity at Seton Hill presented itself and I knew I had to get back into the field," Coy said. "I loved that everyday was something new at St. Vincent and Seton Hill looks to be just as exciting."
Coy is already familiar with Seton Hill. She graduated from the ADP program in 1998 with a degree in marketing and management. "I feel like I’m back at home on campus and I look forward to using my experiences in development to generate new ideas and share in the learning of new technology."
Coy most recently left a position as Coordinator in the Office of Education and Spiritual Formation with the Diocese of Greensburg. At the diocese, Coy served as manager of the office by coordinating projects, events and workflow.
