GREENSBURG, PA- John Fogle, Athletic Director at Seton Hill College, announced that Tamika Duck, daughter of Nate and Collette Duck of North Braddock, PA, will attend Seton Hill on a basketball scholarship. Duck will begin classes in Fall 2001.
“Tamika will contribute immediately Her strengths are rebounding and shot blocking,” said Rick Rosensteel, head basketball coach at Seton Hill. “She is a fine student and will fit in nicely at Seton Hill. “She was an outstanding city league player and will be successful at the college level.”
On the basketball team at Westinghouse High School, Duck was the 2001 City Champ and averaged 10 points, 12 rebounds, 3 blocks and 4 assists per game.
“I looked at several other colleges and felt like Seton Hill was the best choice for me,” Duck said, who is planning on majoring in communications in the fall. “I look forward to attending classes and playing with the team.”
