What: Receiving Line for Ambassador Boggs and Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony featuring First Lady Michele Ridge
When: Friday, June 8th - receiving line at 6:00 p.m., ribbon-cutting at 6:30 p.m.
Where: Administration Building, Second Floor
Why: First Lady Michele Ridge will be cutting the ceremonial ribbon to the Administration Building. Ambassador Boggs will be receiving the Elizabeth Seton Medal during the dinner program at 7:00 p.m. Both events are part of the College’s grand reopening of the newly renovated and restored Administration Building.
Seton Hill College constituents, including President JoAnne Boyle and Campaign Co-Chairs Christine Delegram Farrell, Maureen Sheedy O’Brien and Christine Jack Toretti, will be part of the receiving line along with Ambassador Boggs and First Lady Michele Ridge.
Ambassador Boggs is the 15th recipient of the Elizabeth Seton Medal, created by the Seton Hill Alumnae Corporation in 1959 to commemorate the life of Elizabeth Ann Seton, founder of the Sisters of Charity and the first American canonized Saint.
Guided tours of the newly reopened Administration Building will begin at 5:00 p.m. All members of the media are invited to attend the activities listed above.
