GREENSBURG, PA- John Fogle, Athletic Director at Seton Hill College, announced that Ashley Harrold, daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Kenneth A. Harrold of Forbes Road, PA and granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Francis Zaffina of Scottdale, PA, will attend Seton Hill on a tennis scholarship. Harrold will begin classes in Fall 2001.
“We are pleased to have Ashley coming to Seton Hill College,” Fogle said. “She will be the cornerstone as we rebuild the tennis program.”
At Greensburg-Salem High School, Harrold was a four-year letter winner on the high school tennis team and was first in singles competition during her junior and senior years. In addition, she is also a member of the French Club, the Leadership Development Program and the Academic Team. Harrold also served as treasurer for Student Council.
“Seton Hill has a good academic reputation and I love the small campus atmosphere,” Harrold said, who is planning on majoring in communication with a minor in French. “I also wanted to continue to play tennis. I’m really looking forward to the fall.”
