GREENSBURG, PA- John Fogle, Athletic Director at Seton Hill College, announced that Kelly Courtney, daughter of Thomas and Charlene Courtney of Berlin, PA, will attend Seton Hill on a basketball scholarship. Courtney will begin classes in Fall 2001. “We are very pleased to have Kelly coming to Seton Hill College,” said Rick Rosensteel, head basketball coach at Seton Hill. “I feel she will contribute towards building our program into a national contender.” On the basketball ball team at Berlin Brothers Valley High School, Courtney was captain her junior and senior years, averaged 5-6 points per game, was the free throw winner for the Christmas Tournament and won seven team camp awards. She is a member of the National Honor Society, the Honor Roll and Student Council. In addition, she serves as the Journalism Editor and TV Production Manager at Berlin Brothers Valley. “The other players on the basketball team made me feel at home and helped make my decision to attend Seton Hill an easy one,” Courtney said, who is planning on majoring in communication in the fall. “I look forward to attending classes in the fall and playing with the team.”
