She’s headed to Madrid for an internship this year.
When Jastrzembski learned of her selection as Sportswoman of the Year, she commented, “I was very surprised and flattered. I attended a previous banquet as part of the Kiski Area High School Cross Country team. It’s a wonderful event and I’m looking forward to the evening.”
“She’s kind of the heart and soul of the team,” Seton Hill Basketball Coach Rich Rosensteel said. “I think so very highly of her. I have been in the coaching business about 38 years. She’s one of my most unselfish performers I’ve ever had.”
