Sarah McMeekin, MA, MT-BC is Assistant Professor of Music at Seton Hill University in Greensburg, Pennsylvania and a board-certified music therapist. She received her Bachelor's degree in music therapy from Seton Hill in 2005 and also her master's in elementary education in 2010. Outside of her teaching duties, Sarah has her own private music therapy practice in which she contracts with Highlands Hospital in Connellsville, Pennsylvania. At the hospital she works on various units including medical/surgical and behavioral health. She is very active in mission work, both nationally and internationally, where she takes students from the university each year to help them gain a greater understanding of our world, their own personal worldview, and how that plays a role in the treatment of clients and/or their own personal relationships.
