Nicole McAllister
I earned a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Pittsburgh in 2021 and a B.S. in Biology from Gannon University in 2015. My research focuses on virus-host interactions with a special interest in alphaviruses, such as chikungunya virus, and bacteriophages. When I’m not teaching or doing research, I love cooking (and eating) new recipes, baking cookies, reading books about comedians and politicians, and staying active with yoga, spin classes, and nature walks!
