James Gerald (Firment) is a Greensburg native who has been practicing guitar for over 15 years. An alumnus of Greensburg Salem High School (2013) and Seton Hill University (2018), he has been heavily focused on guitar performance and practice methods to get the most out of playing guitar. He covers a variety of genres including Rock, Metal, Progressive, Blues, Pop, Country, Classical, Jazz, Musical Theatre and Spanish styles of music. James practices as a solo and duo performer as well as a session player for studio recordings and musical pits. Schools and companies he has worked with include Guitar Center, Stage Right, Split Stage Productions, The Geyer Performing Arts Center, The Palace Theater, The Pittsburgh Renaissance Festival, Woodland Hills High School, Greensburg Salem High School and Derry Area School District.
